Over the years we have proudly supported countless individuals in need, extending our help beyond just those battling cancer. From firefighters to providing meals for the homeless, our help making a difference in our community remains unwavering. Together, we continue to bring hope and support to those who need it.
Why because in 2020, I received a from a customer looking for cleaning services. As we spoke, I learned that she was battling cancer, and it struck me how much she was going through. That moment opened my eyes to the challenges faced by those in difficult situations. Inspired by her, I decided to offer free cleaning services to people who need it the most, hoping to bring a little relief and comfort during their tough times.

Cleaning for a Reason is proud to have dedicated 16 years to supporting over ,16,446 individuals in their battle against cancer. In 2022, I committed to $1,000 as part of our $10k challenge, thanks to the generous support of more than 1,200 maid services across the U.S. and Canada. Together, we are making a meaningful difference in the lives of those facing this daunting struggle.

''It’s Jamie. She’s pretty bad now because of the endometriosis. It’s the worst case in the country according to the specialists. She’s lost more than half her body weight. Can’t eat food and a lot of her organs aren’t functioning as they should be. Bowels, liver, kidneys are all slowly shutting down.
She’s had so many surgeries but endometriosis isn't considered as priority for surgeries so she has to pay unless she wants to wait on public hospital lists unless one of her organs completely fails but they wont cover preventative surgery They have to keep removing scar tissue and separating organs stuck together. She might have to have part of her bowel removed next. As a mother it’s heartbreaking. I remember calling the ambulance so many times for her since she started her periods when she was 12. They kept saying she’s just not managing her period pain and gave her a shot of morphine and sent her home with a heap of Panadol. I kept telling them something’s wrong but they wouldn’t listen making me feel like i was stupid and over reacting. But it started with severe endometriosis that has now spread through her bowels and outside her ovaries and could go into her lungs next. Im ok. It’s been part of our lives for over 20 years now. Just knowing the financial costs of all the surgeries is now getting unmanageable. I need to win lotto!
